woooo looks soooo delish…here in hawaii we make kalua cabbage, same way chopping your cabbage first fry your kalua smoke pig or shredded smoke pork , add hawaiian salt, shoyu (sprinkle)…some dash red wine,.. onions same way cooking like yours…the kalua smoke pig shredded type meat…tastes soooo good in the cabbage,,,here we call it kalua pig cabbage. delish!!!

Hey! You are definitely heaven sent! I used your recipe (Omitted the seasoned salt- I did use Louisiana own “SLAP YA MAMA” seasoning though and added smoked turkey necks also). I am from Louisiana and it was great! Thanks for your recipe!!!! I plan on purchasing the cookbook also!

every tried a knife sharpener? does wonders! could’ve cut thru that cabbage like butter when sharpened.
that is what I was wondering, then i figured it is just the worst choice for a counter top ever!
well i cook my cabbage and i add carrots and smoked sausage in it. i also use mortons seasoned salt and black pepper and add a pinch of sugar for seasoning. but never use ckn broth just h2o and oil. ill try the broth next time and see what it tastes like.
