Love this recipe! Did it yesterday, so easy and satisfying. I didn’t have the sherry but it was still very tasty. I also had to substitute the white pepper for black pepper. Looks and tastes as good as in restaurants.

Excellent, easy recipe. I like my egg drop soup very “eggy”, so I used two eggs. Also added a bit of nutmeg for extra flavor. I find that the taste of wine overpowers my palate easily, so I only used half the amount of sherry.
I have made it today. It turned out very good. proof: My daughter liked it.

Same with my mom’s Its more like they learned english with a great amount of learned pronunciation, but today’s accent is a bit different, if you look at a movie from the 50s, it’s different, so its from where a person is a guess or how they learned… even native or non native english speakers…(American not English people, lol)

Yes, it tastes a bit different, but it is still good. I sometimes make this with vegetable broth as well
