Sesame Bagel Cookies Recipe

Servings: 50x Sesame Bagel Cookies
Ingredients:
Flour – 4 cups
Soft Unsalted Butter – 4oz
Aniseed spice – 1 tablespoon
Veg/Canola Oil – ½ cup
Salt – 1 ½ teaspoon
Water – ½ cup+
Egg – 1 beaten
Sesame seeds – to your liking
Directions:
In a mixer bowl, add flour, butter
Mix it on low for 1 minute
Add aniseed, oil, salt
Mix it on medium-high for 2-3 minutes
Add water as needed to make dough soft enough to work with, but not too soft.
Take the dough put on the side on a working table.
Divide the dough into 5 pieces.
Take each piece, roll it into a hot dog shape
Then cut pieces into about a 1” thickness
Take the 1” piece and roll it out and make a bagel shape with it.
When all done shape dough prepare an oven tray w/ oven paper on top.
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.
Take an egg and beat it. Have a bowl of sesame ready on the side.
Take each little bagel dough, dunk it in the egg a bit on one side, then dunk it in the sesame bowl a bit and place on oven tray.
Once done, place the tray in the oven 30 minute until cookies are very light brown.
Take out the over and let it cool off before serving.
