Home Cooking: BONYACALDA – Family Recipe – Start to Finish

Sup YouTube. Ready for some Home Cooking: Bonyacalda from a family recipe taken from, yes, my mom’s recipe box some 15 or 18 years ago. I can actually remember my Grandma, and mom, and Aunt, and sisters all cooking this together some 35 and 40 years ago when I didn’t even like eating it, lol. Once again, I still have the old yellowed paper that I wrote it on, lol, and even though I didn’t actually like this dish when I was a child, when I grew up a little, I learned to love it, even as I do now. LIke I have said before, I’m not much of a cook, but I can follow a recipe, especially a family recipe that brings back memories. Here are your ingredients that you will need, and the video is only about 13 minutes long with quick and easy instructions where I take you from start to finish in a very short amount of time. Ingredients for this wonderful Italian Dish:: 2 sticks of margarine 3 large onions 3 cloves of garlic 2 cans of Anchovies (I only use 1) 1 can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup 1 Pint = 16 oz of whipping cream (I use 2 pints of heavy whipping cream) And you will need these things to serve Bonyacalda, which is also spelled Bunyacalda and Bunyacalde by some: Lots of French Bread, celery, cabbage, and maybe cauliflower and broccoli if you want. This is a wonderful dish, but watch out for all that garlic and onions, lol, for it can have some bad side effects, hahaha. Alright, hope you enjoy, and I also hope to bring you a few more family recipes that I managed to

Grandma’s secret recipes: Michael Swamy and East Indian culinary heirlooms

Read more on: www.firstpost.com The vindaloo you know is not the only vindaloo around. There is one for every ex-Portuguese precinct — whether in Macau or Latin America or India. In the Konkan itself, the Goan version is as different from the Mumbai one as the Christians of Goa are from the East Indians of Mumbai. In fact, there isn’t one recipe for anything East Indian because it is a khichdi of many identities — the kolis or fishermen community, adivasis, farmers, Brahmins, among others. All of them pushed for a common identity to differentiate themselves from the Goan Christians.
