The first thing to do is preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C), after that dice the butter and let it soften; once soft, place in the bowl of a stand mixer with ½ cup (100 g) of sugar and beat until you have a fluffy, frothy mixture. Now dissolve 1 tbsp (10 g) of instant coffee in a couple of tablespoons of hot water, and let it cool; separate the egg whites from the egg yolks and, after beating the butter and sugar mixture for about 10 minutes, add the egg yolks one at a time, beating constantly, as well as the coffee in a thin stream. The mixture is smooth, creamy and with no lumps, that’s because all the ingredients were at room temperature, including the eggs. Now fold in the toasted hazelnut meal, which has a strong taste and aroma: if you want something milder you can replace it with almond flour. A fresh dessert, very easy to prepare, and sure to be appreciated by everyone. For a more refined look, the pudding can be served garnished with whipped cream and seasonal fruit. But let’s see together what ingredients we’ll need to make it: • Less than 1 cup (200 ml) of heavy cream • 1/3 oz (9 g) of gelatin • 1 vanilla pod • 4 egg yolks • 1 ½ cups (350 ml) of fresh whole milk • ½ cup (100 g) of sugar Let’s make together the vanilla pudding: Begin to prepare the vanilla pudding by soaking the gelatin in very cold water… make sure water is ice cold. It is not a vegetarian green bean casserole, but a hearty recipe with meat and potatoes in a delicious casserole dish. There is nothing better than some good old fashioned Home Cooking, and even though I’m not much of a cook, I can follow a recipe, lol. Fortunately, that is all you need also, in order to start enjoying a Family Recipe. Here are your ingredients that you will need, and the video is 12 minutes of quick and easy instructions where I take you from start to finish in a very short amount of time.
